Got that itch to travel? Running out of places to visit? No worries! Here’s a list of destinations that have been on my mind lately, maybe it’ll help you with finding your next travel destination.
VIETNAM

We’re starting off strong because Vietnam has been my dream destination for years. I see it as one of the most fascinating and beautfiul countries in Asia. Both the nature and culture in Vietnam make for an amazing holiday. The country offers amazing cuisine, friendly people and views to die for. When I eventually get my ass over there it’ll surely be an expierence of a lifetime!
NATIONAL PARKS IN THE U.S.A.

The U.S. is big, we all know that, so it makes travelling around quite the challenge. You can’t see every state (well if you really wanted to you could but it would take a while) on one trip so you’ll have to pick. Some people will try the east and west coast, others will visit all the major cities. I would buy myself a pass and visit as many national parks as I could.
You can find a whole range of different biomes, if you like the heat you can try desert parks and if you like the cold you can even try alaska. Be sure to clear enough time in your calendar because you’ll want to keep going!
BIKING ALONG THE DANUBE

Maybe Donau is a more familiar name for you but this river starts in the Black Forest in Germany and makes it’s way across a whopping 10 countries before ending in the Black sea.
Biking along the entire length is definitely not easy and I’m not sure if I’d have the time or leg muscles for that but there’s nobody stopping me from biking just a specific part.
THE WEST HIGHLAND WAY, SCOTLAND

Another classic for me, ever since I got the itch to hike in 2015 I’ve been obsessed with the West Highland Way. It’s 152km and goes from Milngavie (near Glasgow) all the way to Fort William. I’ve been to the Scottish highlands before and the raw, wild nature you find there is addicting.
I’ve also been in Fort William before and saw Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in GB. A lot of hikers finish their trip by climbing it (what’s another 14km after 7 days of hiking?).
Hiking this trail is a dream and since wild camping is allowed in Scotland it makes for a perfect budget adventure holiday.
KYOTO, JAPAN

Did you even make a travel list if you didn’t add Japan as a location?
No regrets though, I’ve never been in Japan or even anywhere near it but the stories and pictures I’ve heard and seen make me think of it as some kind of real life magical world.
Kyoto is often seen as the cultural capital of Japan and although I would gladly visit any city, town or local farm in Japan, if I ever do go, Kyoto would be the first place to go. Not only does the city itself offer an amazing culture where in summer you can visit many festivals, the entire region has some of the most beautiful nature you’ve ever seen.
Although the more that I think about it, that might just be everywhere in Japan.
Voila, 5 destinations that I can’t wait to visit one day. If you’ve been to one of these or have gotten inspired to visit them be sure to share your story in the comments!
